“The wine is beautifully old school in personality, offering superb depth in its aromatic constellation of sweet cassis, tobacco leaf, dark soil tones, cigar smoke, dark soil tones, cedary oak and just a whisper of mint hovering in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very pure in profile, with a rock solid core of fruit, buried, chewy tannins, a good base of soil and a long, nascently complex and impeccably balanced finish. ”
